Short Documentary - in Post-Production

In 1974, the Grateful Dead completed the Wall of Sound, a legendary public address system envisioned by long-time Dead associate and iconic countercultural figure Owsley "Bear" Stanley. This massive system required four semi-trucks to transport it, which they did during their 1974 tour.In 2020, Connecticut luthier and speaker cabinet maker Anthony Coscia began constructing detailed scale model replicas of the original Wall of Sound. His mission is to create a full-scale replica of this iconic system. This documentary is a brief history of the original Wall of Sound and tells the story of Anthony's efforts to recreate it.
